Our mission
FirstClinTech is a unique organisation providing a wide range of support services that make a difference to medical device company customers throughout Europe. These services may include training and education, clinical support, logistics, business development, regulatory compliance, and R&D support. (See our Executive Summary or our Services page for a more detailed description.)
FirstClintech was formed by Rob Petterson and Terry McCarthy in 2009. Our first client base was those clinics and patients using the VentrAssist LVAD device, who required support following the collapse of the Ventracor company. Following the successful launch of FirstClinTech that enabled continued treatment as planned for most of the VentrAssist users, FirstClinTech expanded to provide services on behalf of other medical device manufacturers and developers.
Our mission is “To deliver a cost-effective range of excellent value-added services to clients who develop, manufacture, sell or use complex medical devices”.
