LVAD Milestone

The Thoratec “Heartmate II” LVAD has now passed the milestone of 10,000 implants worldwide. For the mechanical circulatory support market this is extremely encouraging as it illustrates the huge growth of experience with these devices amongst end-stage heart failure patients. We expect that it will encourage more investment and activity in this very exciting therapy, a space in which FirstClinTech is very active. Well Done Thoratec, and all its customers and their LVAD recipients!
